5 ruthless business lessons from one week in NYC

0:00Okay, I just got back from New York.

0:02I was there for a week.

0:03It was probably the most fun business trip of my life.

0:05And I wrote down five bullet points I have here that I think we could dive into.

0:09And the first one I want to dive into is when was the last time you've been to New York City?

0:22Oh, dude, it's been like 10 years since I've been to New York.

0:25Like, I just don't really go.

0:26Well, you had a great time.

0:28That's good.

0:28Whenever people come here, I feel like I want to be a steward where I want to be like, look, it's not that crazy to live here and it could be awesome and it's exciting.

0:37And I'm not like one of these guys that's like, I'm not a Knicks fan.

0:41I'm not like a New Yorker.

0:42I just live here.

0:42So I don't want to like pretend that I'm like a, you know, that type of person, but I felt proud to show you around.

0:48Yeah, and you did.

0:49Also, I think a lot of people had that in New York because they'd be like, hey, we're going to hang out with this person.

0:54And it would be half hangout, half city tour because there's A, there's a lot going on.

0:59And B, I think there's a lot of pride in like knowing the city and being a part of the city and bringing friends from other places to the city, which I think is pretty cool.
