0:00Everything you see on this table has a strong scientific evidence that it will help us sleep.
0:04So we're going to dig into all of those in great detail.
0:06So the first one is a really good one.
0:07Kiwis.
0:08Kiwis?
0:08Yeah.
0:09So there's been good studies on them.
0:10So if you have two to three Kiwis before bed, you'll see people sleeping better.
0:14Next on our list is sleep divorce.
0:16People generally don't sleep as well when you're in the same bed as others.
0:20Next, what about this?
0:21This has more evidence than the rest of these things combined.
0:23And it is effective.
0:23Another one to think about is sound.
0:25And it really matters sound when you sleep?
0:27Yeah, as much if not more of any other factor.
0:30There's also screen usage, light, your pillow, and wearables.
0:32But the other thing is we're spending more on sleep, and sleep is getting worse.
0:36And for the last 20 years, I've been doing science, coaching, and education.
0:40That enhances human performance.
0:42And I've been fortunate to work with the world's most elite athletes, entrepreneurs, leaders, and even 50% of athletes have a clinical sleep disorder.
0:49It gets worse.
0:5070% to 80% of people who have clinical sleep apnea will go undiagnosed.
0:54And for women, it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 90% to 95%.
0:58And it is deleterious to your health because it's highly associated with long-term death risk, cognitive function, mood regulation, performance, recovery, metabolic health.
