0:26Today's principle is the law of empowerment, and this law is one of the biggest tests of a leader's security because empowerment sounds simple, but for many leaders, it's incredibly difficult.

0:36Because empowerment requires trust.

0:39Look, if you're like me, you're probably a control freak, and it's very difficult to let go of things.

0:44But one of the things I've learned as a leader in business is one of my main jobs is to transfer belief and skill to people.

0:51The transfer of belief and skill is what makes a great leader.

0:54And once you've done that, you've got to give people space to improve and to grow and even make decisions in some cases.
