0:00If you were to apply, let's say lavender oil, which is the foremost study back in 1991, I believe it was, a one and a half percent, and I'll explain this in just a minute what that means, but a one and a half percent dilution over a male patient's abdomen.
0:14They applied that and massaged it into his stomach, over his stomach, just again, an ointment, just like you're going to massage therapist.
0:22They tested this guy's blood for lineal and lineal acetate, which are the two chemicals that really make you calm.
0:29And they're the sedative properties that we love and appreciate about lavender.
0:32They found within five minutes that they could detect the chemicals in the guy's blood.
0:36Within 20 minutes, the full concentration was there.
0:39And here's the kicker.
0:40After an hour and a half, they're gone.
0:42Hey there, everyone.
0:42Welcome back to the Energy Blueprint Podcast.
0:45I'm Ari Witten, and today I am here with Dr.
0:48Eric Zielinski, who is a public health researcher, an aromatherapist, and essential oils guru.
