0:00Last Friday was the year anniversary of Charlie Kirk's murder and the internet was flooded with remembrances of Charlie and unfortunately even more so all kinds of predatory people trying to use the memory of a fallen man for their own political or financial purposes.

0:16That's kind of always the case.

0:18We sat it out because that was depressing to see.

0:21But you did see people who knew him genuinely well and liked him and weren't trying to profit from his death raise the question, how do we honor his memory?

0:30And that is a completely fair question.

0:31But it begins with a more fundamental question, which was what was his life about?

0:37If you were to remember Charlie Kirk, what are the first qualities of his that come to mind?

0:41Of course, are the personal qualities, enthusiasm and decency and energy and intelligence.

0:49But his beliefs, well, as someone who knew Charlie well, I would sum them up this way.

0:54He believed all kinds of things, but the main thing he believed was Christianity.

0:59He was a sincerely religious man.
