0:00I was thinking last night when Massey lost in Kentucky.
0:03I was thinking back to Trump's inauguration, the morning of the Trump inauguration, which amazingly was only last year, last January, January 20th.
0:12And I was in Washington for that, and Trump invited me to church on the morning before he was sworn in.
0:17And so, of course, I went.
0:19And it was at St.
0:20John's, the Episcopal Church in Lafayette Square, where pretty much every president has gone on the morning of the inauguration.
0:26So I showed up.
0:27Happens to be my denomination, the Episcopal Church.
0:29So I know the church pretty well.
0:30I know people who work there.
0:32So I was pretty excited about going and saying a prayer for this presidency.
0:37So I'm standing outside at maybe 6.45 in the morning, and it is freezing.
0:42And if you've been to Washington in the winter, you know, it's mostly pretty temperate, but the cold days are very cold.
0:47And there's something about the cold in a city that is biting.
0:50Even if you like cold, it's tough.
0:51And this was probably 12 degrees and windy.
0:54And I remember that very well because we were standing in line in a security line waiting to go through the magnetometer.
