0:01How many times have you thought to yourself, I want to remember something?
0:06And then you forgot it almost immediately.
0:09And maybe it's a name, it's a fact, or maybe even it's why you walked into a room.
0:15This probably sounds familiar.
0:17It happens to all of us.
0:18It happens to me.
0:20We live at a time when our attention is pulled in every direction.
0:24And that's a fundamental problem.
0:26What happens instead is that a lot of people start to assume they are just bad with names.
0:30They can't focus, or maybe they're not fast learners.
0:34But what you want to remember is that memory, focus, and learning are not fixed traits.
0:41These are skills.
0:42And like any skill, they can be trained.
0:45That should be deeply inspiring to anybody listening.
