0:05We had bought like a hundred-year-old Spanish-style house in Los Angeles, and we had the brilliant idea that we would remodel this house while we lived in it.

0:17It wasn't just a brilliant idea.

0:20Like we couldn't afford two mortgages at once.

0:23So we bought this house.

0:24We lived in it.

0:26We went completely down to the studs.

0:28And some of you were there for the saga that happened in the aftermath.

0:33If you've ever remodeled something, you know how hard it is to live inside of.

0:38There's dust, there's rat poop everywhere.

0:42It's so awful.

0:44But without a doubt, without a doubt, the worst part of that experience was not having a kitchen.

0:52Like we had a plastic sink, like a utility sink that we found at Home Depot.

0:58And we set it up in the backyard with a garden hose.
