0:00People don't care about my music, I'm not good enough.
0:01And those lived in my body as such strong activations that when I started to like touch the edge of it, my body was like, no, no, no, no, no.
0:09Like shut it down.
0:10When I was 14, I wrote an album of songs and recorded it at a studio in high school.
0:16Honestly, like I didn't get into the audition choirs and that did a number on my confidence as a singer.
0:21And so I was like, oh, this isn't meant for me.
0:23And a lot of times it is for our mind.
0:25You know, we go back to the moment where we first got rejected when we used our voice, like rejected for not joining the choir.
0:31And validating little me, who wanted to do it so badly, but like honestly suppressed it.
0:36Like graduated top of my class from Brown.
0:38And so I had quit the startup to do my own thing, feeling like on top of the world, but my subconscious panicked.
0:43And then suddenly I'm not getting a singular gig.
